Flood Resilience 

QDO has wrapped up its work with Natural Disaster Resilience Program (NDRP) funded by the Queensland Reconstruction Authority which focuses on preparing and building resilience into the farm business system. Four QDO members that have been previously affected by floods or are in a high-risk flood zone were approached in late 2019 to be a part of the NDRP project. 

The project was able to deliver technical on-farm advice such as soil health and agronomy, natural resource management and farm business planning from external consultants to aid in mitigating future flood damage.
